Score Footnotes

You can attach footnotes to your gradebook to include additional information about individual scores. Use Score Footnotes to manage the different footnotes available.

  • On the Settings page, click Score Footnotes from the list of Grading options to access the Score Footnotes settings.

How to Add a Footnote

  1. On the Settings page, click Score Footnotes from the list of Grading options to access the Score Footnotes settings.
  2. Click Add New Footnote to create a new footnote.
  3. Type the footnote code (usually number) in the Symbol box.
  4. Type the text for the footnote in the Meaning box.
  5. Click OK.
    The footnote will be available for you in your gradebooks through the Score Footnotes toolbar.

How to Change a Footnote

  1. To edit the footnote code, double-click in the Symbol box in the table row and type the change.
  2. Double-click the Meaning box to change the text of the footnote.
  3. Click Save when finished.

How to Delete a Footnote

You can delete any footnote, even if it is assigned in gradebook. The footnote will be removed from any scores in the gradebook.

  1. To remove a footnote, highlight the row of the footnote from the table, and click the Delete icon that appears in the Meaning box.
  2. Click Save when finished.
