Hide Profiles in Staff Directory

Any super user that can change user permissions will be able to hide an individual staff member’s profile page. For example, if the school guidance counselor is not to be included in the staff directory, or if you want to remove teachers that have blank profile pages, you can hide the pages in either the Modify User page or the User List page.

How to Hide an Individual Staff Member from the Staff Directory

To hide one specific user from the Staff Directory, complete the following steps.

  1. From the menu bar on the homepage, select Tools, and then Manage Users to open the User List page.
  2. Click the name of the user to update.
  3. Click Edit to access the Modify User page.
  4. In the User Information area, select Hide from Directory.
  5. Click Update User.
  6. Click Done when finished.

How to Hide Several Staff Members from the Staff Directory

To hide several users from the Staff Directory, complete the following steps.

  1. From the menu bar on the homepage, select Tools, and then Manage Users to open the User List page.
  2. Search for the staff members you want to remove by checking only Teachers, Administrators, and Staff Members.
  3. Select the users to remove from the directory.
  4. From the Directorymenu, select Hide Selected Users.
  5. Click Done when finished.
