Link to Content in Google Drive and Dropbox

Teachers, super users (administrators), and other staff can create links to content stored in their Google Drive and Dropbox accounts. Links to content stored on Google Drive or Dropbox can be created within a folder, from a Links box on the Edline website, or on any page where you enter content by hand using the content editor (Tiny MCE Editor).

Note: In order for users to be able to access the content you linked from Google, you must first ensure that appropriate permissions are set on the linked content within Google Drive. By default, files in Google Drive are set to private, and must be made public, or shared with the specific groups or individuals you want to access the content.
Dropbox behaves differently. Anyone with access to the link will have access to the content, even if it is in a protected folder. You can remove public access to this content at any time using the Remove link option on the file within Dropbox, which will result in a “404 page not found” error if selected in Edline.
