Links to other web pages can be added to the Tool Panel through the Add Web Link page. Web links that are already a part of the Tool Panel can be updated through the Edit Web Link page. Both pages contain the same boxes for adding or editing a web link.
How to Create or Edit Web Links on the Tool Panel
- On the Administrator Panel, under Communities, click Tabs and Modules.
- Click Tool Panel.
- To create a link, click Create Web Link.
To edit an existing link, access a link's contextual menu and select Edit. The following table describes the available options.
Web Link Options Option Description Enter Information Title [r] Provide or change the title of the link. Web Link [r] Provide or change the URL for the link. This must be the full URL. For example: http://www.blackboard.com, not www.blackboard.com or blackboard.com Available Select Yes or No to make this link available to users through the Tool Panel.
- Click Submit.
