Recorded Collaboration Sessions

Your instructor and institution control which tools are available.

Recorded sessions allow you to review the discussions and questions raised during a collaboration session.

How to Access Recordings

  1. On the course menu, click Tools.
  2. On the Tools page, click Collaboration.
  3. On the Collaboration Sessions page, access the session's contextual menu and click Recordings.
  4. On the Session Recordings page, click the recording title in the Recording Name column.

How to Search for Recordings

  1. On the Collaboration Sessions page, access the session's contextual menu and click Recordings.
  2. On the Session Recordings page, click the Recording Name or Date Created option in the Search by field.
  3. Type the name of the recording or the creation date.
  4. Click Search.

How to Access Group Recordings

  1. Access your group.
  2. In the Group Tools section, click Collaboration.
  3. On the Collaboration Sessions page, access the session's contextual menu and click Recordings.
  4. On the Session Recordings page, click the recording title in the Recording Name column.

How to Create Group Recordings

  1. Access your group.
  2. In the Group Tools section, click Collaboration.
  3. On the Collaboration Sessions page, click the name of the session you want to join.
  4. After joining the session, click the Begin recording function on the action bar.
  5. In the Name Recording pop-up window, type a name for the recording or the creation date.
  6. Click OK.

How to Edit or Delete Group Recordings

  1. On the Collaboration Sessions page, access the session's contextual menu and click Recordings.
  2. On the Session Recordings page, access the recording's contextual menu and click Edit or Delete.
  3. If editing, make your changes.
  4. Click Submit.
