Resolved Issues

  • When Learn experiences delayed responses from the Blackboard Social cloud services, session creation and logout requests for Social Cloud sessions are now asynchronous. This will prevent blocking threads on delayed responses from blocking other Learn threads. However, the user-facing impact of this change is as follows: if the session creation does time out, cloud features will not work properly until the frameset is reloaded. Hovering over avatars will not pop open a card, and clicking on your own profile will show a "you are not logged in" error.
  • Reduced DNS calls being made by fixing a permissions issue with the B2.
  • Deleting a profile from xpLor, then recreating the profile again now retains the new profile in the user's session.
  • Cloud Profile creation screen now properly shows full set of privacy options when Social Profiles and Tools is turned on.
