Blackboard Learn includes an email function for administrators to quickly email sets of users:

  • All instructors
  • All students
  • All users

After the recipients are determined, all messages are created the same way.

How to Send Email

  1. On the Administrator Panel, under Tools and Utilities, click Email.
  2. Click All InstructorsAll students, or All Users. The following table describes the available options.
  3. Click Submit.
Email Options
Option Description
Enter Message Details
To Displays the group of users to receive the message.
From Displays the address of the sender.
Subject Provide a subject for the email message.
Message Provide the text of the message.
