Enhanced Profile

This information applies only to the Original experience. Your institution controls which tools are available. Although this information is written for students, it applies to all users.

Showcase you!

With the enhanced profile, you can better capture and showcase the skills and competencies you develop during your educational journey.

You can carry your educational identity outside the institution and share it with your peers and employers.

Highlight your work experience, projects, competencies, organizations, and skills together in a unique, visual profile. Let the world know what you are capable of.

Your profile starts with a My Cover Page that highlights your information with a collection of tiles that you add. You can also share your work experience, projects, organizations, and competencies. This page is the first thing you or anyone who visits your profile sees.

Create your profile

When you go to your updated profile for the first time, you'll see prompts to set up an account or log in with your existing MyEdu account.

  1. Accept the terms of service agreement.
  2. Create or update your profile information.
  3. Add tiles to your cover page.
  4. Add your competencies. You can associate your competencies with work experiences and project entries.

When you access your profile for the first time, a welcome screen appears. Make a selection to begin:

  • I Have A MyEdu Account
  • I Don't Have A MyEdu Account

If you have multiple Blackboard Learn accounts, you can combine them into a single profile and use it everywhere.

You can connect to an existing MyEdu account or create a new one. For new accounts, provide this information:

  • First and last names
  • The institution you're attending
  • Your degrees, majors, and concentrations
  • Your graduation year
  • Your email address

For an existing MyEdu account, the system may ask you to reconcile any duplicate information. Select the privacy settings to control who can see your profile.

After the registration process, you're taken to your cover page and you can add tiles.
