There are two user interfaces in Blackboard Learn: Original and Ultra. Depending on what you see, your grades will appear in different places in the system. Use the screenshots below to determine which experience your school is using.
Where are my grades?
Doesn't seem familiar? Jump to the "Ultra" help about locating grades.
You have two options:
- You can see grades for all of your courses at once
- Or, you can view grades for one course at a time
All grades at once
To view grades for all of your courses, select the arrow next to your name in the upper-right corner. In the menu, select My Grades. You can sort your grades by All Courses or Last Graded. If your work hasn't been graded, grade status icons appear. Select an item title to view details.
Grades for one course
To view the grades for the course you're in, select the My Grades link on the course menu or on the Tools page.
Note: Your instructor determines which links appear on the course menu.
It's easy. There are multiple places that grades appear, and no matter where you find your grade, you'll get the information you need.
- On your course's Grades page, inside the relevant course.
- Right from your Activity Stream.
- On your Global Grades page, accessed from the base navigation.
1. Inside the course
You can access your course grades on the course's navigation bar. Select the paper and pencil icon to access all the coursework that is specific to the course you are in.
Then, on the Course Grades page, select an assignment title to see the grade and feedback your instructor left. You'll see your instructor's notes in the Submissions & Notes section. Your instructor may also have left comments on your document.
2. Activity Stream
Any new grade you get will appear immediately in your activity stream. You can open the graded assignment right from there. Select View your grade to show your grade in the stream or select the assignment title to see it in context.
3. Your global Grades page
To see your grades for all your courses in one place, select Grades from your base navigation. All your grades organized by course. You can quickly see what is due and set priorities across the board. No need to navigate to each course individually.
ULTRA: How do my grades compare to others?
You can use learning analytics to find out where you stand in relation to your classmates and plan how to improve your position.
