On our purchase screen, we advertise Dropbox integration with Mobile Learn.
What is Dropbox?
Dropbox is a service (not created by or in any way affiliated with Blackboard) that allows you to store your files online and access them from any of your devices. Because Dropbox already does an awesome job of making uploading and downloading files easy for students, we felt that utilizing Dropbox to expand Mobile Learn's file management system was a natural choice.
What does Dropbox cost?
You can choose to use Dropbox for free or purchase extra Dropbox storage. We recommend users start with the free storage plan. It provides 2 GB of storage and that is plenty of space to work with Mobile Learn. Dropbox offers ways to to increase that storage up to 18 GB while remaining free.
Do I have to use Dropbox?
You are not required to download Dropbox before you can use Mobile Learn. Users can still use their device's native upload mechanism. On iOS devices this means only photos and videos can be uploaded.
Dropbox was the first file management system we have integrated into our app. We have also integrated Google Drive.
