SCORM Package

Upload any SCORM or AICC package into a course.

SCORM (Sharable Content Object Reference Model) is a collection of specifications that enable interoperability, accessibility and reusability of web-based learning content. SCORM content can be delivered to learners via any SCORM-compliant Learning Management System (LMS) using the same version of SCORM.

SCORM 1.2 conformant packages are supported in Moodle 2 and passes the ADL test suite. Currently, SCORM 1.3 (a.k.a.. 2004) is not completely supported in Moodle yet. So, if you are seeking to reuse existing SCORM packages to upload or want to purchase a course development tool, you will want to ensure it is a SCORM Version 1.2 certified product. Moodle 2 also supports AICC packages.
